Electricity Futures & Options Workshop
d-cyphaTrade runs introductory workshops designed to increase understanding of the d-cyphaTrade ASX Australian Electricity Futures and Options Products. This workshop is suitable for those recently entered entities seeking to gain a generic overview of the market and for others seeking to improve their knowledge of the market will also find this workshop of interest.
Introductory Electricity Trading Simulation
In conjunction with the Trading Simulation Company (TSC), d-cyphatrade is running a specialist Electricity Trading Simulation Course. The workshop gives a theory and practical based introduction to the Australian electricity markets with particular focus on the d-cypha SFE Electricity Futures & Options contracts.
Electricity Options Trading Workshop
For each of the last 2 years (2008 and 2009) d-cyphaTrade ASX Electricity Options turnover has been equal to 45% of electricity consumed in the underlying NEM physical electricity market. The Options Trading Workshops provide practical electricity option trading and hedging insights (rather than focusing on theoretical options-related mathematics).
Electricity Futures Data Workshop
The workshop aims to provide a practical guide to retrieving and analysing electricity futures and options market data. Particular emphasis is placed on providing quick and effective techniques of interpreting, filtering and reporting relevant futures market information critical to decision making in the electricity and carbon trading sector.
Carbon Trading Simulation Workshop
In conjunction with the Trading Simulation Company (TSC), d-cyphatrade is running a specialist Carbon Simulation Course. The workshop gives a theory and practical based introduction to the International carbon markets as well as the proposed Australian Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS).
Carbon Trading Workshop
This workshop is an introduction to the international carbon markets and the proposed Australian Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. Participants will gain an understanding of the international carbon markets, their impact on the Australian electricity market and Australian Emission Trading Scheme, as well as the opportunities presented through trading spark spreads and clean spark spreads.
