Strip Futures Products
Pre-determined Calendar (Cal) and Financial (Fin) Year Strip Futures Products are also available for trading in base load, peak-period, and off-peak electricity exposure.
A strip trade is defined as a trade where consecutive traded quarters of a futures product (with the same volume for each of those traded quarters) are bought or sold simultaneously. The prices of the individual futures quarters resulting from a trade in a Strip Futures Product will be calculated using the formula prescribed by the ASX, please see ASX 24 Operating Rules.
ASX will list both Calendar (Cal) and Financial (Fin) Year Strip Futures products for Base-Load and Peak-Period Futures, and Off-Peak exposure in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland.
Cal and Fin Year Strip Futures prices are available on the d-cyphaTrade website on the delayed market data pages. Component prices of Cal and Fin year Strip Futures products that have traded are also available are on the d-cyphaTrade website.
